Andrew died after being attacked in the liverpool city centre in march 2003. he was 18. He left behind 3 sisters and 1 brother and a niece.
Andrew was a quite and polite and hard working young man, and even after so long we will never understand why these people would want to harm him.
so far no one has been convicted of his murder.

(A Mothers story)
No more can his mother hear the sound of his laughter she loved so much echoing around the house (only in her memory now)
No more does she hear him say I haven’t got time mum, when she tell’s him to sit down and eat his tea.
No more can she hear him say no mum you’re not ironing my jeans you put creases in um.
No more can she feel his warm soft skin against her face as he hugs her goodnight.
No more does she say be careful has he goes out the door to join his mates.
No more does she see a big strong young man giving his cheek has he hangs over the stair banister she just see’s a wooden box with his ashes in it and a photo on top in his corner of remembrance
No more can she smell the fragrance of his after shave around the house, all she can smell now is the scent of the flowers in his garden of remembrance
No more does she dares to hope someone will be brought to justice for his murder because she has been let down so many times.
No more can she stand the thought one of his attackers kicked him as he lay dying on the cold wet ground, like he was an old carpet put out for the bin
No more can she think of another going through the heart break she goes through every waking moment.
